A poem
The dry scorched Earth once teeming
Cold, Lifeless, Silent
Is now a dead planet spinning
Nuclear War Came and went
Polluted waves along deserted shores
Dry bones on burnt sand
Gone every man, woman, and child
Teardrops of radiation soak the land
And the gods wept.
Please pause for 30 seconds and consider!
