A fairy tale... in my mind one of the hardest things to write beautifully. Yet, Izzi, here is your gateway. Mirrors figure hugely in such tales, of course. I have a mirror that was my parents, both mum and dad always checked themselves in it before leaving the house. I have looked into this mirror from being eight years old. It has seen every year of my life. I imagine stepping into it, seeing my parents, me, too, and charting my growth. 🤎
