February Challenge Day five: Favorite RomCom:

Well, of the several hundreds of brilliant Romcoms served up over a time, only one hits the button that says to me, absolutely the best of all time, now and ever!

If you remember it and have forgotten it, shame on you. If you remember Tootsie and didn’t fall in love with her, shame on you. :)

Drag as an art, or a lifestyle, seems to be in the news a lot today. Tootsie arrived in 1982. It was a divine movie, with Dustin Hoffman taking on the role of an actor who couldn’t get work and decided on chancing his arm dressed as a woman. From then on, its belly aching laughter and the beautiful music wins you over to the extent that Tootsie is so real, so beautiful, absolutely darling.

Robin Williams, yes, he managed something special with Mrs. Doubtfire, and in my opinion, Robin’s performance resurrected the romcom era that had been lost.

Today, the idea that people live differently, unashamed of who they are, and living their best lives, is not wholly acceptable in the United States, land of the free!

I’m not ashamed to admit I fell in love with Dorothy Michaels, on the contrary, I’m pleased to be able to finally say it to myself.

It has been my great pleasure to have joined in this February Challenge which has led me to meeting online so many good writers in the group. Each has inspired me. For that, I thank all of you, and a special thanks to Keeley.
