Challenge Day 24: A time in your life where you felt most loved?
In my birthday card:
Dearest Darling,
I do wonder sometimes whether you know to what degree I love you. I never knew such a beautiful and powerful feeling could exist in one human being for another before I met you. It seems too simple to call it love. It should have a much grander name. Love it is.
We are one, and though we have our differences they are not the kind of differences that will hurt us. We need to know what each of us needs. What upsets us. What stimulates us. You and I can do that. We have trust and the ability to put over our points of view; our likes and dislikes; as well as all the things we care about each other.
The very least I am is yours. The very most I am is yours. We spend so much time together and I have never felt crushed or too close, or as though I’m being smothered. I feel like you love me more than anything or anyone else. That is how I feel. That is all I want to feel.
Happy 70th Birthday.
