I was never a care-giver, Ted. I'm sure that won't surprise you at all. I've been cared for but never, to my thinking, ever returned it. Even when my parents were in their elderly years I had people brought in to help. Fear drove that. Fear I couldn't give them back what they gave me. Then, after losing my wife and youngest child, my eldest child needed a great deal of care. Most of it came from family. I don't know whether grief got in the way, as he was suffering the same. I got it right, eventually. Maybe just in time. I have the utmost respect for you, Ted. 🍺
