I’m here…I’m real, love me!

When one knows, one knows. You know.

I wanted you that first day I saw you on the beach because I knew your world was different. A lifetime later, I don’t mean to be gone so often when the only journey I ever want to make with you is to the middle of our bed.

It is the writing, of course, time spent creating lies, little ideas, big ideas, places visited in my mind or reality, all because of some need that cannot be explained, strange voices listened to, yet not hearing yours, the screams and cries I’ve heard, yet not knowing your tears, your frustration, your moods and emotions, going unheeded for one peaceful hour of writing. I’ve become as selfish with my time as you are with your body in the morning.

The widest of beds, the cloudlike pillows, that place where we are each other. One love wrapped around the core that exists inside or in between us.

But there are other dialogues, conversations, and nothing more. Characters talk to each other. They sound like real people. So, I’m confused all the time, and I forget things, but honestly, it’s not that simple…a hundred voices demanding my attention.

I love you, and I say it…not waiting for your reply, not daring to imagine I could lose you. When I feel you distant, I know I can love you well enough for both of us…and wait for you to love me again.

Take your time. But hurry.

I love you.

P.S. I’m pressing my shirts.

Medium: Please let me know if you are concerned about tagging my followers. I will understand. If Medium wishes to be tagged, I will happily add to my tags.

I also set aside two hours daily to read as many friends as possible. This might appear to be block claps or responses, but it is nothing. I do it within an allotted time, that is all.

Thank you.
