A few years back I found Peter hiding in a blackberry patch. Having no identification and clearly not a wild cat, I figured he must have strayed from the farm over the hill.

I have never been original with names for my cats. Most have names, like Timmy, Peter, Sammy (who is really Samantha) and Stripy, after the pattern in his fur, who never wanted a name anyway, and ignores any reference to it…
