Straight up, let’s get this out of the way. I have no intention of being nice to Jack Herlocker. Good, I like to get that out of the way.
Jack has published his book with Amazon:
The first thing that stood out for me was not being mentioned in the dedication.
The second thing. It is not a series of Drabbles.
It is 268 pages of Chats, Truths, and Verses: A collection of fiction and nonfiction.
It was here when I returned from Scotland. Had it been here before I went to Scotland, I wouldn’t have taken it anyway. I was travelling light. 268 pages in another pound in weight.
The book is dedicated to Deb, who, in a kindly manner, offers him more than mere chats. She would seem to inspire him. That’s a woman I have to meet. Jack, as we know, is a dreary asshole a lot of the time. Ex-Navy, nuff said.
